What changed in Innbocks, month by month. Newest first.

August 2026

Compliance readiness, stronger sign-in, and immediate plan changes

  • Security

Multi-factor authentication for vendors and staff

Turn on MFA with any authenticator app and keep a set of recovery codes. Store owners can require MFA for every staff account, and staff who have not enrolled yet are guided to set it up before they reach the dashboard.

  • Billing

    Plan changes apply immediately

Upgrades and downgrades take effect the moment they are confirmed. Upgrades charge the quoted difference right away, and downgrades credit the unused portion forward to the next invoice.

  • Compliance

    CRD readiness ledger

A per-subject checklist shows exactly what is missing before a customer or addressee can be reported to the USPS Customer Registration Database, with blockers and warnings kept separate so you know what actually stops a filing.

  • Compliance

    Quarterly certification snapshots

Each quarterly USPS certification now records a frozen copy of the compliance evidence at the time you certified. If a quarter is recorded with gaps and later finalized, the finalization is appended alongside the original rather than replacing it.

  • Compliance

Activation hub and compliance center rework

Every unfinished Form 1583 now leads to one activation hub that shows the customer's next step. The compliance center was reorganized so each tab covers one stage of the customer lifecycle: activation, Form 1583, subscription, and CRD.

  • Customers

    Weekly onboarding and abandoned-signup digests

A Monday email lists customers who started onboarding but have not finished, and a daily digest flags people who picked a plan on your public sign-up page and never completed checkout, so you can follow up.

  • Integrations

    Agent-ready Partner API

The Partner API now ships with an MCP server, machine-readable documentation, per-request rate-limit headers, and stable operation IDs, so AI agents and integration tools can discover and call it without guesswork.

  • Platform

Staff notifications and updated POS guides

Customer-activity emails now reach the owner plus any staff member who opts in. The PostalMate and ShipRite setup guides were rewritten end to end. Behind the scenes, Stripe payment events are reserved and processed exactly once even when Stripe retries them.

July 2026

POS intake, business accounts, and per-plan pricing controls

  • Integrations

    PostalMate and ShipRite mail intake

Mail logged in PostalMate or ShipRite flows into Innbocks automatically. Incoming messages are signature-verified, duplicates are suppressed, and pieces for the same customer are grouped into one arrival.

  • Customers

    Business accounts with additional addressees

A customer account can list the additional people and business names allowed to receive mail at the box. Intake staff see those names when logging mail, and each addressee carries their own Form 1583 status.

  • Platform

    Branded sending email domains

Customer emails can be sent from your own domain instead of a shared one. Verify the domain once in settings and every notification, invite, and receipt carries your brand.

  • Mail

    Mailbox number pools per plan

Assign a numbering series to each plan so, for example, business boxes and personal boxes draw from different ranges. Pools layer on top of your store defaults.

  • Billing

    Scan and shred pricing redesign

Scan and shred fees are now set per request, with a number of included pages and an overage rate per extra page. Prepaid plans keep their hard caps.

  • Billing

    New-customer offers per plan

Give each plan its own one-time discount on a new customer's first invoice. The offer is shown during sign-up and applied automatically at checkout.

  • Platform

    Vendor activation milestones

New stores are tracked against three milestones: payments connected, billing set up, and first active customer. Stores that stall between steps get a short reminder series with the next step spelled out.

  • Mail

    Customer invites and PDF scans

Invite a customer with a plan and payment card attached, or without a plan, or in bulk from one modal. Multi-page mail can be uploaded as a single PDF scan.

June 2026

Private document storage and a rebuilt Form 1583 flow

  • Security

Uploads moved to private storage with signed links

Mail scans, IDs, and Form 1583 documents are now stored privately and served only through short-lived signed links. There are no public file paths anywhere in the product.

  • Compliance

    Form 1583 onboarding rebuilt

Customers complete the form, choose a notarization path, upload the notarized copy, and wait for your review in one guided flow. Each step shows what is done and what comes next.

  • Compliance

ID photos fill in the Form 1583

When a customer uploads a photo of their ID, the details are read automatically into the matching Form 1583 fields, including the ID expiration date used for renewal reminders.

  • Mail

    Mail templates and multiple recipients

Notification templates were reworked, and stores can add or remove text-message recipients and extra email recipients per customer.

  • Platform

    Mobile dashboard parity

The Innbocks-branded mobile app connected to your store now shows the same task counts and mail states as the web portal.
