"Quick-Start" Checklist for the Store

(Hand this to any ShipRite location; the whole setup takes about 15 minutes and requires zero code changes.)

1
Prep
5 min

1. Locate credentials

  • Your email drop-box address, shown in Innbocks under Settings, Integrations as soon as you turn the ShipRite integration on, e.g. yoursubdomain-shiprite@innbocks.com

2. Finish any in-progress Package Valet check-ins before editing settings.

2
Turn on Package Valet check-in emails in ShipRite
4 min

1. Confirm your store's outgoing (SMTP) email is set up in ShipRite and send yourself a test message.

2. In Package Valet, make sure the customer email notification is turned on for package check-in.

3. Each boxholder's email address on file in ShipRite should match the email they use with Innbocks. That is how we route each notice to the right customer.

3
Add the drop-box copy
1 min

1. In Package Valet's email notification settings, add your Innbocks drop-box address as a copy (CC or BCC) recipient so every check-in notice also reaches Innbocks.

2. If your station captures a package photo at check-in, include it in the email so it travels with the notice.

3. Send a test email to your drop-box address to confirm your store email can forward to innbocks.com.

4
Export your mailbox roster & upload to Innbocks
3 min

1. In ShipRite, open Mailbox Master and run your boxholder list report, then export it to Excel or CSV.

2. Keep the columns for Mailbox Number (PMB), Name, Email, and Telephone/Cell.

3. Log in to Innbocks → Settings Mailboxes Import → upload the CSV → map columns → Import.

5
Verify
≤2 min

1. Check a test package in with Package Valet for a test mailbox.

2. Wait up to 60 seconds.

3. In Innbocks, confirm the piece appears under that mailbox with the photo attached.

Done. Live from now on.
